Jolly Back Chair's Lorna Taylor received support from her East Midlands Combined County Authority Growth Hub business adviser. She also received funding from the Digital Growth Programme and after seeking guidance from the Department for International Trade, Lorna successfully exported her low, mobile seating product into the USA. She went on to file a trademark in the USA as well as taking on her very first employee through the University of Derby's intern programme.
With the Growth Hub’s support, Mary-Anne is now ready to launch her new narrowboat self-catering business.
