Richard Smallwood

Business Adviser

Richard is an experienced business advisor and consultant, having run his own advisory business and has been employed by the Erewash Partnership for a number of years which included delivering the East Midlands Combined County Authority Growth Hub programme across Erewash during 2010 to 2013.

Richard has now recently transferred from the Erewash Partnership to the East Midlands Chamber. He has a particular interest in manufacturing and has been actively involved in the East Midlands Manufacturing Network. He likes to help and support the “not for profit” and CIC/ Charity sector and has been a Board Member of Treetops Hospice and Ambient Support. Prior to this period as an advisor, Richard spent most of his career in the aerospace industry having held senior executive positions in Rolls-Royce, British Aerospace and Airborne Systems Inc.
