Steve joined Derbyshire County Council as a Business Adviser in 2024, bringing with him a wealth of commercial and leadership experience gained over a successful career in the private sector.

Having spent more than 20 years as co-owner of an IT services business, alongside senior roles including Chief Operating Officer and Technical Director, he has developed a comprehensive understanding of what it takes to build, manage and grow a successful organisation. His expertise spans all key business functions, including operations, finance, customer service, marketing and sales.

Drawing on this extensive real-world experience, Steve works closely with aspiring and established business owners, helping them transform ideas into commercially viable, sustainable ventures. His practical, hands-on approach enables clients to overcome challenges, make informed decisions and achieve long-term success.
