Often individuals are not 'difficult', but it is the situation that presents itself, which leads to this conclusion.

What outcomes will be achieved?

By the end of the course, delegates will:

  • Understand the range of “difficult” behaviours displayed by others and recognise their own triggers and reactions to each.
  • Have learned techniques to rationalise behaviours in themselves and others and to clarify end goals.
  • Be able to plan their approach and employ techniques to allow consideration on both sides without losing ground.
  • Understand how difficult situations escalate into conflict and how this can be managed to maintain positive relationships

Eligibility:

This workshop is open to established enterprises located in Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.

Receipt of this support is subject to the Subsidy Control Act (2022). To qualify an enterprise cannot have received more than £315,000 Minimal Financial Assistance (MFA) and or De Minimis within any three-year period.

The project is funded by EMCCA’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund allocation and is delivered by East Midlands Chamber.
