This workshop is delivered by Nottingham City Council in partnership with Built in Notts. It forms part of a practical support programme for early-stage founders.
Whether you are shaping an early idea, building something that is not getting traction, looking to scale but unsure how to fund it, or you know you need investment but do not know where to start, this programme is designed to help you take the next step.
The aim of the session is simple. We want to help every founder move closer to being genuinely investor ready.

This workshop is designed for Nottingham founders who are ambitious, curious, and ready to grow. It is suitable whether you are just starting out or already trading but feeling stuck.

Session Content
The session cuts through the noise and focuses on what actually matters when becoming investor ready.

- How to sharpen your proposition and tell your story clearly
- How to get your ask right, including how much you need and why
- How to build an investor outreach strategy that works in the real world
- How to create an investor ready presence online and offline
- This is not a lecture. You will leave with a clear picture of where you stand, what is holding you back, and the specific actions you need to take next.
