Microsoft 365 Copilot for Business Users

This workshop aims to give the business user the skills to begin to unlock the potential of AI in Microsoft 365.
You’ll learn how to use Copilot AI in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, One Drive and across Microsoft 365 to save huge amounts of your time and become more efficient and effective in your work.
**This workshop is open to Nottingham City businesses only. Please note due to limited availability we can only allow one booking per business per workshop topic.**
What’s covered:
- Getting Started with Copilot: Introduction, access methods, and setup across Microsoft 365 apps.
- Copilot in Outlook: Draft, summarise, reply to emails, extract tasks, and get writing suggestions.
- Copilot in Excel: Create spreadsheets, build formulas, format cells, analyse and gain insights from data.
- Copilot in Word: Generate documents, summarise and format content, extract key points, and compare files.
- Copilot in PowerPoint: Build presentations from templates, enhance slides, and summarise slide content.
- Copilot in Teams: Use in chats, manage calendars, summarise meetings, and create follow-up tasks.
- Copilot in SharePoint: Find and summarise files, extract data, and streamline file navigation.
- Advanced Features: Use Copilot Chat, prompting techniques, create agents, and prompting.
- Real-world scenarios
What outcomes will be achieved?
After attending this workshop, you should be able to use Copilot to:
- Manage your Inbox effectively every day
- Manage your diary effectively
- Analyse data and gain deep insights into data in Excel
- Streamline communication and collaboration in Teams
- Create formulas in Excel instantly
- Create and format content in seconds in Word
- Create a new Excel workbook
- Create engaging presentations with speaker notes in PowerPoint
- Find and compare files in SharePoint
- Create and share bots in SharePoint
Who should attend?
This workshop is designed for users new to Microsoft Copilot who want to increase efficiency.
Prerequisites:
A good understanding of:
- SharePoint for file storage and collaboration
- Teams for day-to-day communication and meetings
- Excel formatting, formulas and data analysis tools
- Word formatting techniques
- PowerPoint slide creation
- Outlook for email and calendar management
**You must bring your own laptop with your own Microsoft 365 login and a trial or fully paid version of Copilot.**
Eligibility:
This workshop is only open to established enterprises located in Nottingham City.
