How we approach energy production, storage and infrastructure in the Midlands will have a profound impact on the cost of doing business and the ability to decarbonise, the Conference will explore the strengths of the region and the role of the business community in this space.
The Midlands has all the components to lead the development of future energy provision, storage and distribution, with cutting-edge advancements in fission, fusion, and hydrogen technologies. We are home to globally competitive businesses operating at the forefront of clean energy deployment, and universities driving innovation and skills development in next-generation energy systems.
Held in partnership with the University of Nottingham Energy Institute, through a range of keynote presentations and panel discussions, the Conference will provide delegates with the opportunity to hear about some of the great activity underway in the region and where there are opportunities to grasp, and challenges to address.
