The scheme covers up to 75% of the total costs of the purchase and installation of EV chargepoints (including VAT), capped at a maximum of £500 per socket and 40 sockets across all sites per applicant.
The Depot Charging Scheme supports uptake of zero-emission HGVs, vans and coaches by part-funding the installation of charging infrastructure at fleet depots. The first application window runs to 30 June 2026 (or earlier if funding is exhausted), and will fund 70% of chargepoint and civil costs, up to £1m across all sites.
