Access to Work

Visit the WebsiteAccess to Work is a specialist disability service from Jobcentre Plus that gives practical advice and support to disabled people, whether they are working, self-employed or looking for employment.
Access to Work is provided when someone needs support or adaptations beyond the reasonable adjustments which an employer is legally obliged to provide under the Equality Act.
The support you get will depend on your needs. Through Access to Work, you can apply for:
- A grant to help pay for practical support with your work
- Support with managing your mental health at work
- Money to pay for communication support at job interviews
