Skills Bootcamps are free, flexible courses of up to 16 weeks, giving people the opportunity to build up sector-specific skills based on local employer demand.

Skills Bootcamps are fully funded for learners and are being delivered in partnership with employers and further education training providers.

In the East Midlands Combined County Authority area Skills Bootcamps offer training in the following areas:

Construction and the Built Environment
Digital Skills
Engineering
Sales, Marketing and Procurement
Management

Who can apply?

Skills Bootcamps are available to all adults aged 19 and over including those who are unemployed, returning to work after a break, in full-time or part-time employment or who are self-employed.

Employers are required to contribute to the cost if they want to send their employees to the Skills Bootcamps training. Employers with less than 250 employees contribute 10% of the cost and large businesses pay 30% of the cost.
