Advertise with North East Derbyshire District Council for FREE!

North East Derbyshire District Council are currently producing a special edition of their residents magazine ‘The NEWS’, focusing on the work North East Derbyshire District Council is doing to re-start the local economy.
As a result, they are offering a limited number of FREE business card-sized adverts (no catch!) to businesses in the district, on a first come, first served basis.
If you would like to advertise your business for free, see below for details:
- This free offer is only valid for this special edition of the NEWS, which will be distributed across the district w/c 3rd August.
- Only businesses trading in North East Derbyshire District can apply.
- Only one business card-sized advert is allowed per business.
- You must supply your own artwork, to the attached specifications.
- Please read the below* to make sure you are aware of the guidelines for advertising with us, such as the businesses we won’t accept advertising from.
- Once the maximum number of advertisements has been reached, or the deadline of 9am on Monday 29th June has passed (whichever is sooner) the FREE advertising offer will close.
- We reserve the right not to include advertising which breaches our advertising guidelines, does not meet with our specification/ quality control or is from a business operating outside of North East Derbyshire District.
*The Council will not accept advertising or sponsorship from any organisation which directly promotes:
- Alcohol
- Gambling
- Pornography, adult content or messages of a sexual nature
- Religion
- Tobacco
- Weaponry
- High cost lending or payday loans
- No win no fee claims
In addition, the Council will not accept advertisements or sponsorships that promote E- Cigarettes or ‘health’ products which are currently un-regulated.
The Council will not accept any advertisement or sponsorship from political organisations, or content that is political in nature, or which connects us with any political party, trade union, religious organisation or pressure group.
- If you are unable to send us an advert, you can still send us your company details for listing free of charge, such as your company name, brief description of what your company does, address and contact details (telephone, website address etc)
Please note: We cannot guarantee this information will be used and reserve the right to edit any listings. We will not accept listings from businesses that breach our advertising guidelines (see above).
The NEWS goes out to over 45,000 homes across North East Derbyshire.
