Government Confirms New National Restrictions from 5th November

The Prime Minister has announced a second national lockdown in order to slow down the spread of Covid-19.
This lockdown will begin on 5th November and will continue until 2nd December and will impact the following businesses:

Non-essential retail

Indoor and outdoor leisure facilities

Entertainment venues
-
Personal care facilities

In order to support businesses through this time the government has extended the Job Retention Scheme (Furlough) to cover this period.
Local authorities are awaiting further information from the Government as to what support they can provide.
