The East Midlands is a region with a strong manufacturing heritage and with the potential to have an equally strong future.

What better way to secure the future success of manufacturing in our region than by bringing together key knowledge and skills to form a dedicated, supportive peer network?

That is the role of the East Midlands Manufacturing Network.

Benefits of joining the network

The East Midlands Manufacturing Network is led by East Midlands Chamber. Joining this business-led support network for manufacturers will help you to:

  • Champion
    Increasing awareness and creating a positive perception of manufacturing to attract investment to our region.
  • Learn
    Hear from industry experts who can provide an insight into addressing challenges faced by manufacturing businesses.
  • Grow
    Stay informed about the financial support on offer for your manufacturing business, and tap into specialist advice to grow.
  • Lead Change
    Get involved in lobbying activity to make sure your voice is heard, regionally and nationally.

Do I qualify?

Participation in the network is free and open to manufacturers of any size. The criteria for joining is below:

  • You are a senior manager or leader
  • Your business is based in the region covered by East Midlands Chamber (namely Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire)
  • Your business makes something

How to get involved

Participation in the network is free.

Once your application has been checked, if you are eligible, you will be added to our mailing list to receive our monthly news update and you will be invited to book one of our network meetings

The local networks are as follows:

  • Derbyshire Manufacturing Network
  • Derby Manufacturing Network
  • Leicestershire Manufacturing Network
  • Leicester Manufacturing Network
  • Nottinghamshire Manufacturing Network
  • Nottingham Manufacturing Network

You can choose to attend any of the networks, it does not need to be the network closest to your business.

Joining the East Midlands Manufacturing Network also entitles you to complimentary Affiliate Membership of Make UK
