The council provides support for new businesses via the Erewash Partnership Ltd (EPL).

Erewash Partnership Ltd is a not-for- profit company established in 1994 by leaders of the local business community and the council to bring together those interested in securing a more prosperous future for Erewash.

Over the past two years they have assisted 222 entrepreneurs and helped 90 new businesses set up, employing over 100 people.

Erewash Partnership Ltd has a large local membership and runs its own networking events.
